Today start to make product (baking + glazed)
To be reliable, make two pieces first, get a very satisfactory results
Then, mass production. According to my oven capacity, it can do 17 pieces at a time. Based on the results of the above tests, I raise the oven temperature to 160 degrees and for 45-50 minutes
Before baking
After baking
The glaze to cover the Lebkuchen
It's delicious. Really worthy of the German precision formula. I just want to eat this flavor, unlike ordinary cookies,it is a kind of sweet and fragrant with in flavor and cool that slowly spreads into the base of the tongue. Its sweet taste comes from 100% of the mixture of nut powder, no flour. Its fragrant with in flavor and cool comes mainly from orange peel, lemon peel, almonds, etc.. These things have a very important role in human health and longevity. Because of its ingredients are hundreds of years of practical experience, it can be said to be very perfect. This kind of food makes you want to eat again for a while. My experiment was successful.
Drinking water do not forget who to dug well. Thank you very much for Chilian and Maria's careful guidance and material support

I have searched "ElisenLebkuchen", found some web pages same that I have made
See 01, 02,, 03, 04
The following are some pictures (From here)
The following is the food52 website's recipe: Makes 12 cookies

1 whole star anise, ground
2 grams ground ginger
6 cloves, ground

160 grams candied citrus peel, chopped very finely
100 grams ground almonds

The following is German website's recipe

50 white german baking wafers, 4 cm diameter (Oblaten)
100 g sweetened milk chocolate, chopped
-----------------------------------
From the results of my practice, this production is not very difficult. If there are multiple experiences, it is even easy. And if only for your own to eat, you can enlarge the size into a bulk to bake, finally cut into small pieces to eat. This can save a lot of operating time. I suggest you do it yourself to enjoy this wonderful German fine food!
I have searched some shopping websites example orange peellemon peelvanillasugarhazlennuts etc.
lemon peel (Finesse) (see here
backing oil (Bitter mandel Amandes) (see here)
Individual things can also be bought in EBAY, example that “ Back Oblaten”
Now the Dr. Oetker has established China web site (see here)
So I will continue to make a lot of these foods for my need in the future and all raw materials can be bought in China
Thanks again to my German friend Chilian for the good food he brought me after I retired 20 years later
